It is an evergreen plant originating from the mountainous areas of the Usa. Flowers bloom during the spring on trunks at the center of the fleshy foliage, collected in a dense little rose: they are striated, small, beautiful and they have pink, red and orange shades. It belongs to the family Portulaceae. It is cultivated because of its wonderful blooming both in the pot and in the rocky gardens. It blooms during the spring, it prefers sunny locations and it does not need abundant watering.
