Ornithogalum dubium is a bulbous herbaceous plant from the Asparagaceae family, native to South Africa. It is especially valued as an ornamental plant for its bright orange flowers, though some varieties produce yellow or white blooms. It has long, narrow green leaves growing from the base, while the flower stem can reach 30–50 cm in height. The star-shaped flowers bloom in clustered inflorescences during spring or early summer.
